Sydney University Ultimate Frisbee Club member Kim Spragg has been selected in the Australian women’s team to contest the 2016 World Ultimate Championships to be held in London.
Spragg, 21, an Elite Athlete Program Scholar, was named in the Australian Firetails team after a series of training camps over the past four months.
The Bachelor of Arts student has previously represented Australia at Under 23 level.
The World Flying Disc Federation announced earlier this year that London had been selected as the host city for the 2016 World Ultimate and Guts Championships.
The Championships will be held from 18-25 June at University College London Sportsground in St Albans.
Organisers will be catering for more than 2000 athletes from 35 countries participating in five divisions of Ultimate (Open, Women’s, Mixed, Open Masters and Women’s Masters) and Guts Frisbee.
