Brydens Sydney Uni Flames star Tahlia Tupaea has been named in the final team to represent Australia at the Under 19 Basketball World Championships.
Tupaea will travel with a 12 person squad to Europe to compete in a number of pre tournament matches against the Netherlands, Spain, Canada and the USA before making the journey to Russa in July to compete in the World Championships.
Tupaea boasts plenty of international experience, after representing Australia in 2013 at the Under 19 FIBA World Championships where her side won bronze. They will be looking to better that effort this year, despite tough competition.
Tapaea comes off a very successfull season with the Flames where she was instrumental off the bench providing energy and scoring power. No doubt these will be qualities she will emulate with her Australian side come July.
