Sydney University Australian Football Club’s Men’s Sydney Premier Division Two side and Women’s Sydney Premier Division One side will each be chasing back-to-back titles this weekend.

The Men’s Division Two side will be up against Blacktown Magic in the season decider, after the Magic accounted for Manly-Warringah 78-26 in Saturday’s final.

Sydney University had already earned a Grand Final berth with an 85-26 win over Blacktown in their major-semi-final the previous week.

The Students, who accounted for Manly-Warringah Wolves in the 2013 Grand Final, have been a threat all season to defend their title. The season decider will be played at Blacktown International Sports Park from 4pm on Saturday, September 13.

Sydney University’s women’s side finished minor premiers in defence of their 2013 title.

They will meet UNSW-Eastern Suburbs Stingrays in the Grand Final at Blacktown International Sports Park from 1.30pm on Saturday, September 13.

Sydney University’s Premier Division men’s side made it as far as Saturday’s final where their season came to an end at the hands of St George Dragons.

The Dragons ran out 21-point winners and will now meet Pennant Hills in the final, with the winner to meet Manly-Warringah in the Grand Final.

Sydney University’s Third Division Men’s side also dipped out of the competition on Saturday when they lost their elimination final 48-31 to Penrith Rams. The Rams will meet Randwick City Saints in the Grand Final.
