Sydney Uni Handball Club (SUHC) will have three current players representing the Australian women’s team when the XXI Women’s Handball World Cup kicks off on Saturday (December 7) in Belgrade, Serbia.   

Sydney Uni’s Dani Cook, Emma van Bussel and Aminta Thomas will all suit up for Australia when they take on Germany in the first of five Group D matches over six frantic days of competition.  

Joining them on the court will be two former SUHC players Sally Potocki and Tori Brunsberg.

The World Cup final is due to take place on Sunday December 22.
