Former SUSF Elite Athlete Program (EAP) scholarship holder and Olympic silver medallist Jessica Fox has had a weekend of mixed results at the ICF Slalom World Cup in Cardiff, over the weekend.

Fox’s success came in winning silver in the women’s C1 on day two of the championships, only two seconds shy of gold. Fellow former scholarship holder Rosalyn Lawrence finishing in 10th position.

The final day saw Fox competing in the women’s K1, the same event in which her Olympic medal was won, but a few errors on her run down the course saw her drop from third to a final result of fifth.

The World Cup heads to Augsburg, Germany from June 28-30, with the Australian team now moving into camp prior to the event.
