An incredible five Sydney Uni Ultimate Frisbee Club members have been announced as part of the Australian open and women’s teams that will represent Australia in Toronto at the Under 23 World Championships.   

Andrew Wood, Alex Ladomatos, and recently re-enrolled Phil White have made the open team, while Tamara Schai and new recruit Kim Spragg have been selected in the women’s squad. Club coach Brett Latham has also been appointed to the women’s assistant coach position.

The 2013 Under 23 World Cup is being held from July 22-28 in Toronto, Canada. Both squads will fly out to the West Coast of America in July as preparation for the tournament.

In excess of 35 athletes tried out for both the open and women’s teams, with 23 men and women selected in the squad for Canada.
