The Sydney University Handball Club swept aside all competition in equally dominant male and female displays over the weekend.
Welcoming new players Diego Llorente and Eric Charpentier, the men’s team comfortably defeated the Hills Blaze 28-9.
Despite fielding an under-strength side, the women’s team defeated Harbourside 43-23, headlined by by Gabriela Andrade, who finished with a spectacular haul of 17 goals.
Tonight the men take on competition favourites the Harbourside Handball Club at H.K. Ward Gym at 8:30pm, while the women will go head-to-head with the Hills Fire at 9am on Saturday at Sydney Olympic Sports Halls.
