Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness Elite Athlete Scholarship holder and gymnast Prashanth Sellathurai has continued to impress internationally taking silver in the men’s pommel horse event at the 2011 Moscow World Cup.

Sellathurai, winner of two gold and one bronze at the 2010 Commonwealth Games 2010, was edged out by Hungarian Krisztian Berki, the reigning world champion, after tallying 15.300 points for his routine, which was a higher difficulty than the eventual gold medallist.

Sellathurai, who was recently named 2010 SUSF Male Sportsman of the Year, is currently studying for a Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Radiography.
