Former Sydney University Elite Athlete Program (EAP) scholarship holder, and women’s wheelchair track and road athlete, Angela Ballard has hit some great form at the 2012 Swiss Open Nationals that will improve her chances of qualifying for London.
Ballard (finished with gold in the women’s T53-54 200m as well as silver in the women’s T53-54 100m and 400m events.
Ballard won five medals in the women’s wheelchair events at the 2010 Australian Athletics Championships, with her three gold adding to a previously won 21 national titles.
