Sydney University Archery Club representatives competed strongly at the recent State Open Target Archery Championships, ending with three top 10 finishes.
In the men’s compound division, Ricci Cheah came fourth.
Kosuke Shibata equaled Cheah’s result in the men’s recurve division.
Donald Chiou finished eighth and Jacky Ganwani twelfth in the same division.
The Championships, which were held on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th September, saw competitors forced to deal with differing conditions across the weekend. Saturday was fine, but Sunday was extremely rainy and most competitors did not finish.
