Sydney University Soccer Football Club (SUSFC) is pleased to announce Mark McCormick as Men’s Premier League Head Coach for Season 2013.

Mark arrives at SUSFC having spent the past two seasons working as an Academy Coach at Austrian Bundesliga club FK Austria Vienna.

Mark holds a UEFA ‘B’ License and as well as having played professionally in both Scotland and Austria, played for 4 years as a student athlete in the USA where he completed a Bachelor of English at Virginia Intermont College.

Club President Andrew Bray said on Mark’s appointment; “We are delighted to have Mark on board and believe his enthusiasm and experience will position our MPL program for success in 2013.”

SUSFC Technical Director John Curran said; “Mark’s appointment marks a change in direction for our club. His experience as a professional player, student athlete and coach at one of Europe’s top academy clubs will provide our players with new direction and enthusiasm. I am very excited to have him lead our new look coaching team in 2013.”
 
Mark will form part of a stellar coaching line-up for 2013 which includes many familiar faces.

Steve Lawrence and Mark Gannon have been promoted to our senior program on the back of an outstanding season in BYL capturing the U18 and U16 Super League Championships. While BYL Head Coach Stan Stamatellis will expand his portfolio to include U16s-U20s, working as the Elite Pathway Head Coach.
