The Sydney University Hockey Club (SUHC) started in 1906 and is one of the largest clubs with more than 20 men’s, women’s, masters and junior teams. The men’s and masters teams play in the SHA metropolitan competition and our top five women’s teams play in the Sydney Women’s Hockey League. All other teams play in competitions managed by North West Sydney Hockey Association. Preseason begins in February and the season runs from March-September. Training occurs from Monday-Thursday (team dependent), at the Bruce Pryor Hockey Field in Lidcombe.
The club sends a men’s and women’s team to University Games at the end of September.
