Katie-Rae Ebzery and Belinda Snell have been selected in the Australian Opals team to compete at the Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast starting April 4th.

Sydney University wicketkeeper Tim Cummins cracked an unbeaten 121 off 100 balls to help the Students to a tense five-run win over Parramatta in the final of the 2017-18 Sydney Grade cricket Limited Overs final at Old Kings Oval on Sunday.

Sydney University Lions men’s and women’s water polo teams opened the 2018 National League season in the form that suggests they could well claim both titles.

Selectors have confirmed that no fewer than 13 Sydney University Athletics Club (SUAC) athletes will represent Australia at the upcoming Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast. It is the largest representation by SUAC at an international event, the previous record being 11 representatives at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

The 2018 Riverview Gold Cup suffered from low entries due to timing and a clash with the Schoolgirl Head of the River but this year the  races provided more drama than most races over the years.

The Sydney Uni Sparks have today announced Belinda Snell has been named SEABL head coach for the 2018 season.
