Behind at half time in both games, the Sydney Uni Sparks displayed a lot of resilience and determination to complete the Canberra double with two wins.

The league leading Kilsyth Cobras ended the Sydney Uni Sparks four game win streak. They eventually beat the home side 79-67 and extended their own winning streak to six in the process.

Sydney Uni have put together another dominant performance to place themselves back into the winners circle in Round 9.

Competition leaders Norwest Polecats were too strong for Sydney University Lions, running out 38-14 winners in their Round 6 NSW Tertiary Cup match at Henson Park on Saturday.

Australia finished sixth overall in the 2016-17 World Rugby Sevens Series after the final leg of the tournament was played in London over the weekend.

Sydney University Lions were up against it on several fronts when they ventured to Kellyville Oval to take on Norwest Polecats in their Round 5 NSW Tertiary Cup match on Saturday.
