Sydney University’s Second Division team have made it through to the semi-finals of the Tertiary Cup competition with a 42-30 win over Railcorp in the minor preliminary semi-final on Saturday.
The final series of the Tertiary Cup competition operates on the traditional McIntrye-Page Top Five Finals structure.
Sydney University Second will now contest the minor semi-final this weekend.
UTS Tigers defeated Macarthur Magpies 40-30 in the major preliminary semi-final.
Meanwhile, Sydney University Firsts had a week off after finishing minor premiers.
They will meet UTS Jets in the major semi-final at Norford Park this weekend. The Jets defeated Lewisham Old Boys 28-14 in the major preliminary semi-final. RAN Titans defeated Cumberland Beavers 24-22 in the minor preliminary semi-final to earn the right to meet Lewisham in the minor semi-final.
