10 Sydney University Hockey Club (SUHC) representatives have been named in the 2013 Hockey NSW men’s and women’s Australian Hockey League (AHL) and 2014 men’s and women’s under 21 squads.

Sad news this past week with the passing of Sydney University Athletics Club (SUAC) patron, Eric Francis Wilson and former Easts and St George runner Bob Talay who also had a connection with Sydney University.

Sydney University Women’s Rugby Club (SUWRC) veteran and experienced Sevens campaigner Iliseva Batibasaga has been selected in the Australian Women’s Sevens squad to defend their title at the 2013 Rugby World Cup Sevens in Moscow in June.

Southern Design Sydney Uni Flames star Katie-Rae Ebzery and new recruit Renae Camino will have the opportunity to stake their claim for Australian senior women’s basketball selection after both girls were selected to attend a six day Australian Opals and Emerging Opals Camp.

Sydney University Athletics Club (SUAC) won both the men’s and women’s open events at the NSW X-Country Relay Championships on Saturday at Miranda, after the club smashed the course record in both events.
