The ACUVUE Sydney Uni Flames must bounce back this Saturday, when they take on the Lauren Jackson led Canberra Capitals, in the WNBL Preliminary Final, at the State Sports Centre at Olympic Park, Homebush.
Captain Natalie Porter hopes that her team can bring their A’ game against a strong Canberra side, which narrowly defeated the Flames in overtime – in their last encounter.
We’d definitely like to end our season on a high. We will have to lift our game dramatically from last week to rival Canberra, but I believe that the girls have it in them,’ said Head Coach Karen Dalton. Every bit of support we can get in the stands, will help us on our way on the court.’
The game is set to be a thrilling encounter and an excellent demonstration of world class women’s basketball in Sydney.
