Sydney Uni Football Club (SUFC) will host both its Colts and Grade teams at home, in what can only be referred to as ‘Super Saturday’ on Saturday 30 May.
“This Super Saturday’ initiative is exciting for the Club as we are able to bring Colts and Grade teams together on our home turf and we are happy to give the same opportunity to Manly in Round 21” says SUFC General Manager, Ray Dearlove.
To wet the appetites of the rugby lovers, there will be a curtain-raiser , starting at 5pm, between the Junior U15 sides from Sydney University and Wests.
This will be a trial match before the State Championships being held across Sydney (including at Sydney University) on the June long weekend.
The Grounds staff at Sydney University, headed by Ray Hunt, has been instrumental in preparing No 1 Oval since the Cricket season finished in March.
