An impressive eight Sydney University Boat Club (SUBC) athletes are Tokyo bound, having secured their positions in the Australian Olympic Rowing Team across six different boat classes.

This morning’s announcement of the Paralympics Australia Rowing team also confirmed University of Sydney alumnus and SUBC member, James Talbot is Tokyo bound (PR3 Mix4+), alongside Lizzi Chapman (PR3 Mix4+ Coach).

The news brings SUBC’s combined (Olympics and Paralympics) representative count to 10 just shy of Sydney University Athletics Club’s 11, with Paralympics selections still to come for Athletics.

The first series of heats for our SUBC athletes will begin on Friday 23 July. Individual athlete schedules and live-stream information will be available shortly.
