Sydney University is thrilled to announce that Edward Nutt, Imogen Grey, and Tiffany Botha have been selected to represent Australia at the 2025 World Rowing U23 Championship in Poznań, Poland. The event, which runs from 16-20 July, will see the world’s top young rowers go head-to-head.

Selection for the Australian U23 team followed an incredibly tough and competitive process, with athletes tested across ergometer trials, seat racing, and on-water performance. All three Sydney Uni rowers stood out, securing their spots within Australia’s flagship U23 boats.

Edward Nutt has been selected for the U23 Men’s Eight after consistently strong performances during trials.

Imogen Grey and Tiffany Botha will line up in the U23 Women’s Eight, securing their spots through solid results in a highly competitive selection process.

This is another proud moment for the Sydney University Boat Club, a true testament to years of work and commitment shown by these athletes. Whilst also highlighting the strength of the club’s performance program, which continues to develop rowers to compete on the international stage.

From everyone here at Sydney University Sport, we congratulate Edward, Imogen and Tiffany on their selection and look forward to watching them next month in Poland.
