Here is the weekly wrap-up of our Sydney Uni Sporting Clubs, which had fixtures over the weekend.
Cricket
Men’s 1st Grade – Sydney University 6/311 defeated Mosman 10/310
It was a spectacular win, with opening batsman Jack Attenborough leading the way with a classy 143.
Women’s 1st Grade – Sydney University 10/97 defeated by Sydney 5/291
A tough day out for our women’s side, who were outclassed by the Sydney Cricket Club.
Water Polo
Men’s Super League – Sydney University 16 – 14 Hunter Hurricanes
It was another close win for our men’s side. After finishing second in the regular season, they progressed to the Semi-Finals on Saturday.
Women’s Super League – Sydney University 18 – 6 Hunter Hurricanes
It was a convincing win for our Women’s Water Polo team, who progressed straight to the semi-final and will play the elimination winner on Saturday.
Good Luck to both of our Water Polo Super League Teams. If they win on Saturday, they will progress to the Grand Final on Sunday.
