Competition between Sydney and Melbourne has stood the test of time, covering everything from weather to fashion. This year marks another chapter in the most important rivarly of all, sport, as The Australian Boat Race hits our Harbour on Sunday 23 October.
Before this annual rowing eights challenge between Australia’s two oldest universities, the University of Sydney and the University of Melbourne, the Sydney contingent is stopping by Eastern Avenue for a warm-up on Wednesday 19 October, 2016.
Grab your front row seat on the Law Lawns at the University of Sydney campus between 10am-2pm to compete alongside Sydney Uni Rio Olympians in a rowing time trial, collect a free coffee voucher from Taste on us using #AusBoatRace and check out the Sydney University Boat Club (SUBC) ‘Gavin Brown’ boat on display, oars and all before race day.
