Should Carter retire, as has been mooted, he’ll put away the boots with 198 First Grade games behind him and 223 overall club games for SUFC. He’s scored 134 club tries, including 98 in First Grade.
The other major awards on the night included Jake Stafford being named Player of the Finals, Harry Johnson-Holmes being awarded the Steve Anthony Trophy as the Best and Fairest Colt, and Colts First Grade being named Team of the Year.
