Baulkham Hills defeated CSNA/Sydney Uni in a heart-stopping one-goal loss, going down 39-38 in the Minor Semi Final on Monday July 6.
The epic battle saw Sydney Uni trailing by only 6-goals into half-time, managing to gradually claw back with quick back to back goals in third quarter.
While the fourth quarter only produced a total of 16 goals, it was drama-packed. Sydney Uni got within one goal, 32-31, but it was a margin they could not overhaul.
In the final quarter, both the wing attack and wing defence for Baulkham Hills came up with the big plays when needed, helping their side to a 39-38 victory and booking them a place in next Monday’s Preliminary Final against Bankstown City.
