The Sydney Uni Rugby League Football Club (SURLFC) is excited to announce that it will be awarding the SURLFC medal for the best under 15’s and under 18’s player at the NSW Combined Catholic Colleges (NSWCCC) State Selection Trials, to be held on May 23 and 24.
SURLFC is proud of its partnership with the NSWCCC, a body that shares similar ideals with respect to excellence in sport and education with the University of Sydney and the club as a whole.
This also marks another opportunity for SURLFC to continue its association with Tim White, who is the coach of the under 18s NSWCCC side, a past player and a current football coach at the club.
“We are excited to be partnering with NSWCCC, which has always espoused proudly the values of excellence in rugby league and education,” said SURLFC Club President, Chris Kintis.
“2014 represents a 100 years of Catholic schools playing rugby league in New South Wales and it’s fantastic to be able to award the talented players that participate in its competitions.”
Tim White said “I am excited to partner with my old club. SURLFC is an historic club and I am pleased to partner with an organisation that values the development of players as sports people but also as all around members of the community.”
SURLFC wishes all the best to the participants of this competition.
