CSNA/Sydney Uni netballer Kirrily Laws has been named as Most Valuable Player (MVP) for the Sydney Netball Academy’s (SNA) open side at the Academy Games.
Laws, a division four player for CSNA/Sydney Uni in the Netball NSW Dooleys State League, received the award after leading her team to victory in their final game of the two day tournament. The 18-17 victory over Western Sydney Academy of Sport (SWSAS) was enough for the Sydney Netball Academy to claim the Academy Games trophy.
“Congratulations to Kirrily,” said Sydney Uni Netball Club Operations Manager, Sam Dawes. “Kirrily is still at school, so she is moving along nicely and only in her first season with us. The club is looking forward to her continuing to grow and develop as she begins the State League season in division four.”
