An incredible five Sydney Uni Handball Club (SUHC) representatives have been selected to represent Australia at the 2014 Beach Handball World Championships in Recife, Brazil.
SUSF Elite Athlete Program (EAP) scholarship holder Alice Keighley will be joined on the national women’s team by SUHC teammates Aline Viana, Allira Hudson-Gofers, Daniela Cook and Emma van Bussel.
Keighley, a Bachelor of Science (Advanced) student at The University of Sydney, was excited about the team named saying “This is the strongest team we’ve ever had and we’re aiming for the top six this year.”
Sydney Uni Men’s Water Polo Club (SUMWPC) National League representative Scott Nicholson will swap the pool for the beach thanks to his selection in the men’s team.
