The Sydney University Football Club (SUFC) and the East Brisbane Tigers will battle it out this weekend in Brisbane for the Australian Club Championship title.

The annual fixture between the premier clubs in Sydney and Brisbane’s rugby union competitions will kick off on Saturday at 5pm, in Coorparoo, Brisbane.

SUFC Head Coach, Chris Malone is excited for the tough contest that will confront his team.

“The East Brisbane Tigers have a very good side,” said Malone. “With a handful of players that have been the best in the Brisbane competition in recent seasons, they are sure to provide a very stiff challenge, which is exactly what we need before our season starts the following weekend”.
