“He wanted to transfer his studies to Sydney University and we were very fortunate to secure his services,” Sydney University coach Gary Whitaker said. “He trains hard, is a very good cricketer and a talented student. He’s now contracted with the NSW squad.”

Sydney University Seconds are also pushing for an outright result at No.2 Oval.

Josh Toyer claimed 6-52 as the Students rolled Campbelltown-Camden for 118 after they had won the toss and batted.
