It will be a case of do-or-die for the CSNA/Sydney Uni Netball Club this Saturday, after going down to Hills District in last weekend’s Division 5 Dooleys State League major semi-final.

CSNA/Sydney Uni were defeated 41-35 and were on the back foot early after heading into the first break down by 4 goals.

Hills went on a 9-1 scoring run to open the second quarter, before CSNA/Sydney Uni started to peg back the deficit. Hills held a six goal lead, 25-19 at halftime.

The gap continued to narrow but Hills were holding off the CSNA/Sydney Uni charge in the third quarter.

CSNA/Sydney Uni scored four unanswered goals early in the fourth quarter to pull within one, but they would not get any closer with Hills steadying to score four unanswered goals late in the game to take the win and advance to the decider.

This Saturday, Minor Premiers CSNA/Sydney Uni will take on fourth placed Baulkham Hills who advanced to the preliminary final with a 44-37 win over Bankstown City in their minor semi-final. The winner will earn the right to play Hills District in the grand final, while the loser will be eliminated.
