Sydney University Hockey Club (SUHC) are just one win away from securing a Finals spot in the men’s Sydney Premier League (SPL) for the first time in over a decade.
Following their 2-1 upset defeat of the second placed Norwest Strikers on Saturday night; Sydney Uni will head into the final round of the SPL just two points out of the top seven.
The Sydney Uni men’s team will qualify for their first Finals spot in over a decade if they can defeat the sixth placed Briars, before relying on third placed Glebe to defeat seventh placed Sutherland.
Sydney Uni take on Briars at Homebush Field 2 this Saturday at 2.30pm.
