SUSF Elite Athlete Program (EAP) scholarship holder and Sydney University Athletics Club (SUAC) representative Milly Clark has finished her debut City2Surf in second place.
In perfect race conditions in Sydney on Sunday, Clark (49:41) finished behind women’s winner Linda Spencer (48:28). Third position went to Sarah Klein (49.53).
Clark’s City2Surf performance capped off an unbelievable eight days for the Bachelor Applied Science with Masters of Nutrition student, who won the NSW Short Course Cross Country and also the Bay Run the weekend before.
In the men’s race Liam Adams finished second, breaking the SUAC club record formerly held by Rob McDonald of 42.22 posting a 42.02.
Jack Colreavy achieved his best result with an eighth place finish. Just for good measure, Peter Costello and Hugh Williams (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) also finished in the top 20.
