The first ever National Club Championship in American Football will be played at Sydney Uni with the support of the American Australian Association.

The American Australian Association is a non-profit organisation devoted to strengthening relations between the United States and Australia. The AAA builds and promotes ties across the Pacific through its corporate, education, social and cultural programs. And what better way to make a connection between the two countries than through their common love of sport!

The NCC Game will feature our own Sydney Uni Lions against the Gold Coast Stingrays.  The Lions have won the last 10 NSW titles while the Stingrays have won 6 of the last 7 in Queensland. Only one team can be the best in Australia and the National Club Championship will settle the score.

The game will be played on 11 August 2013 on the Square at Sydney University. Make sure to arrive when the gates open at 12 noon, as there will be food and entertainment for the whole family, including live music and jumping castles for the kids, and a demonstration of women’s American football.

American Australian Association are proud to support the NCC Game.
