Former SUSF Elite Athlete Program (EAP) scholarship holder Jessica Fox has added to her canoe world cup medal haul with another gold at the latest event in La Seu d’Urgell, Spain.
Fox matched her performance from Germany last week by notching her second consecutive gold medal in the women’s C1. Fox won in 121.71 seconds, nearly three seconds ahead of second place, before following her C1 heroics with a 10th place finish in the women’s K1.
Also competing at the world cup event was another former SUSF EAP scholarship holder Rosalyn Lawrence, who finished 10th in the women’s C1 and 30th in the women’s K1.
