After a close loss to Eastern Suburbs in round three of the 2013 Sydney Grade Rugby competition, Sydney University will look forward to hosting them this weekend for the club’s annual Family Day event.
With the weather forecast predicting the sun to show its’ face on Sunday, SUFC is looking forward to hosting a large crowd on the sidelines, with numerous family activities planned for the afternoon.
Many child-related attractions are planned on the day, which includes:
• Animal Petting Farm
• Jumping Castle
• Face Painting
• Ice cream truck
• Tah Man (NSW Waratahs’ mascot)
Aside from the off-field attractions, Sydney University will be playing four grade games of rugby against Eastern Suburbs, with 4th grade kicking off at 10:45am and 1st grade at 3:00pm.
During the 1st grade half-time break, several minis rugby matches will be played on our historic ground comprising of players from junior teams Canterbury, Petersham and Drummoyne.
