Sydney University Boat Club (SUBC) legends and dual Olympians Matt Ryan and Sam Loch will be inflicting a world of hurt on themselves when they attempt to row for 24 hours on an erg machine, all in the name of charity.

Ryan and Loch – winners of sixconsecutive King’s Cups for NSW – will hope to raise $10,000 for The Leukaemia Foundation when they try to break the World 24 Hour Tandem Rowing Erg Record this weekend.

Without any international rowing commitments over the winter, the pair decided to put their time and energy into a fun way of raising some money for the Leukaemia Foundation.
