If the last two seasons are anything to go by, Saturday’s game between the Sydney University Football Club (SUFC) and Gordon at Chatswood Oval will be a nail biter.
In 2012 SUFC halfback David Fong converted a try after the bell to win the game, while in 2011 the Students scored in the final five minutes of the game to secure a courageous come from behind victory.
“Gordon know how to score points and it was evident last weekend when they played Eastwood,” said SUFC Head Coach, Chris Malone.
“While Eastwood ended up winning the game, we certainly need to be wary of Gordon’s attack leading into this weekend’s game. This weekend we really need to tighten up our game and really focus on ball security.”
