The Sydney University Sailing Club have completed a remarkable three days at the Woollahra Sailing Club, after an undefeated performance led to victory in the final of the 2013 NSW Team Racing Championship.
Having finished as runners up at last year’s event, the helms for the Sydney University team, Alexandra South (Bachelor of Arts & Social Sciences), Nick Howe (Bachelor of Arts & Social Sciences) and Jeronimo Harrison (Bachelor of Engineering & Information Technologies) – all SUSF Elite Athlete Program (EAP) scholarship holders – went one better over the weekend.
The Sydney University team are well and truly beginning to consolidate their team tactics after winning medals at the 2011 and 2012 Australian University Games (AUG) and hope to continue their success at this year’s AUG on the Gold Coast in September.
