An incredible 38 University of Sydney students have been selected in 2012 Australian University Games (AUG) Green and Gold teams.
The Green and Gold team selections are based on the performances of all students who competed at the AUG held in Adelaide in late September.
Sydney Uni’s largest selections occurred in hockey (men and women) and football (men and women) – both sports gained six selections. For a complete list, please click here.
Despite a string of gold medal performances during the 20th anniversary of the Australian University Games, Sydney University finished in equal second place overall with Monash University, and three gold medals behind winners Melbourne University at Australia’s largest annual multisport participation event in Australia.
