Sydney University Soccer Football Club’s bumper crop of juniors delivered four titles from six grand finals in the NSW Men’s Super League at the weekend.
The highlight of the title grab came in the Under 20s, where Sydney University defeated Spirit FC 4-1 at Jensen Park.
Sydney University also won the Under 18s with a 1-0 win over Northern Tigers; the Under 16s with a 4-2 result (on penalties) over Central Coast Mariners; and a 2-0 win over Dulwich Hill in the Under 13s.
Sydney University also contested the Under 15 grand final, which they lost 2-1 to the Central Coast Mariners Academy, and the Under 14s, who went down 5-1 to the Central Coast Mariners Academy.
The University was also represented in two grand finals in the NSW Women’s Premier League, with the Reserve Grade losing 1-0 to the Marconi Stallions at Blacktown Football Park, and the Under 12s losing 1-0, also to Marconi Stallions.
