The Sydney Uni Men’s Water Polo Club (SUMWPC) will be trying to win all five 2012 Winter Season competition premierships next Wednesday night after all of the club’s remaining teams won their semi-finals overnight.

All five (SUMWPC) teams – Open’s Division 1/2, Division 3, Under 16 Lions, Under 16 Blues and Under 14 – entered the semi-finals as Minor Premiers. The Under 16 Blues were also undefeated during the season, while the Under 16 Lions were an Under 14 aged team playing up an age group and the Under 14 Gold were predominately an U12 aged team.

“These results highlight the fantastic commitment & culture within the Club,” said Lion’s Club President David Whittaker.

“The training structure is really showing good development of players. Thank you to all coaches & team managers for all your efforts over the season.”
