The Sydney Uni Baseball Club third grade team will be going all out for Premiership glory this Saturday after winning two do-or-die finals games in as many weeks.
The Sydney Uni Cynics will go into this weekend’s grand final against Petersham-Leichardt full of confidence after finishing third on the table, before knocking out fourth placed Cronulla and first placed Hawkesbury in the first two weeks of finals.
The news wasn’t as good for the Cynics second grade team who were defeated 7-6 last weekend in the preliminary final, but showed great courade fighting back from 7-0 down to put real pressure on eventual winners Petersham, while first grade were just one regular season win away from making it a clean sweep of finals appearances for the club.
Sydney Uni third grade take on Petersham-Leichardt this Saturday at 1pm at Petersham Oval.
