With the final round of the Sydney Water Polo Winter Competition still to be played on Wednesday night, five of Sydney Uni Men’s Water Polo Club’s seven teams are currently sitting in the Minor Premier position.
In other fantastic news, Sydney Uni’s Anthony Hrysanthos returned last night from a month overseas with the Australian Born ‘93 team. During this time Hrysanthos was acclaimed as ‘Goalkeeper of the Tournament’ in two of the three tournaments contested. Hrysanthos is actually three years younger than this age group and will still be just 17 by the time next year’s U20 World Championships are being played.
Lion’s Club President David Whittaker is extremely pleased with the club’s continual progress.
