The Sydney University Football Club (SUFC) First Grade team will be looking to win back some pride after their disappointing loss last weekend to Manly at home by bouncing back with a victory this weekend against Eastwood.
“Our performance on the weekend was disappointing and the team is really stinging from the loss and our performance on the weekend,” saidTodd Louden, SUFC Head Coach.
“The team will work hard on our combinations this week, which has been difficult with the player movement within the team.”
Eastwood go into this weekend’s game firing on all cylinders given their recent form and the return of a number of their key players but the Students will be hungry for a win after last weekend’s shock loss at home.
No matter the result a cracking game of rugby will be played out at TG Millner Field on Saturday and the club hopes that its blue and gold fans will come in huge numbers to support the team.
An exciting matchup is also predicted in Reserve Grade and Colts 2, both top of the table clashes taking place on Saturday between SUFC and Eastwood.
SUFC’s 2nd Grade side sits 9 points clear of Eastwood on the table due to the team’s amazing ability to find the try line, but it is a given that the Eastwood side will rise to the occasion of playing at home on Saturday and a huge game is on the cards for these two sides.
