Sydney University made it a clean sweep at the Riverview Gold Cup, with both the female and male rowing crews winning their respective races on Saturday.

The women’s crew finished first in a tight finish, winning by 1.83 secs in front of Sydney Rowing Club. The men’s crew won in a convincing 3 second difference, also over Sydney Rowing Club.

Both crews raced over 1400m’s at Lane Cove, with the finish line right in front of the St Ignatius College boatshed. This is the third year in a row that Sydney University has won both of the men and women’s Eights.
