Perfect conditions on the Manning grass courts over the weekend saw two Sydney University teams make it into the finals of the X-Point Tennis Sydney Spring Badge competition on Saturday.
Fresh from his Gold Coast Australian University Games success, Kevin Ye paired with Tobi Glienke for Sydney University 1 to defeat Rockdale 1 and advance in Men’s Division 1.
Kevin and Tobi will line up in next week’s decider against competition minor premiers Canterbury Bankstown 1, who defeated Sydney University 2 in the other semi final on Saturday.
Fernanda Feres and 2010 AUG gold medallist Mia Price, playing for Sydney University 2, won their semi-final against Mosman 1 in convincing style and now take on competition front-runners Western Suburbs 1 in the ladies Division 2 final.
