Sydney Uni women’s handball team are NSW League champions for the third straight season after defeating UTS in last weekend’s grand final.
The girls, who went into half-time leading 10-5, keep a tight defence in the second half to comfortably defeat UTS 25-13.
Unfortunately the men’s team was defeated by the Hills Heat in their grand final. Despite fighting hard, and staying within a goal for most of the match, they fell just short – losing 24-22.
